Teeth Cleaning?

How much is it to get your teeth cleaned if you don%26#039;t have insurance?

Teeth Cleaning?
Call your local dentist and ask. They are generally approx 45-75 dollars depending on the area in which you live. Make sure and ask if films (xrays) are extra or included in their regular exam and cleaning price. Don%26#039;t go by what people say on this site, call locally and ask.
Reply:it depends where you live, in FL a prophylaxis is about $65.00
Reply:I dont know but y dont u search the internet 4 a price under ure dentists name!
Reply:If you are looking for a cheaper option try to get your cleaning at a dental hygiene school. They charge you less, but it takes longer to complete your treatment.

The school I went to charged $35, which included a full mouth x-ray (20 films), periodontal exam and dental exam. It took at least 1-2 appointments to finish the cleaning but you can be sure that the students will do a good job, as the instructors check and recheck the student%26#039;s work.

On the other hand at a dental office the hygienist finishes you in 45-50 minutes (if you are on time or he/she isn%26#039;t running late), minus time to take X-rays, dental exam, Perio exam.

Check out hygiene schools in your area:

Just give the school a call and ask if they need patients for the hygiene clinic.
